$500 per team (HST included)

REGISTRATION RULES AND REGULATIONS

Teams must submit:
— Captain’s information
— Team information
— Shirt sizes
Each team will receive:
— 1 tube (1 dozen) of shuttles
— Every registered player will receive a Victor badminton shirt

Payment Methods
Payment accepted via E-transfer or Cash only.
E-transfer to epicsportstoronto@gmail.com with TEAM NAME + CAPTAIN NAME in the description.
Payment must be completed within 24 hours of registration to confirm entry.

Availability & Refund Policy
Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis based on timestamp of online registration.
If the tournament reaches capacity and alternate arrangements cannot be made, a full refund will be provided. No withdrawals after registration closes.
*Withdrawals before registration closes are subject to a $100 administrative fee.

A confirmation email will be issued once both the registration form and full payment have been received.


Tournament Format

Round Robin followed by Single Elimination.
Maximum Entry: 24 teams

Team Requirements:
— Each team must have between 6-10 players
— Must include at least 4 males and 2 females
— Participation limited to registered and confirmed players only
Double-up rules:
— 1 player can play a maximum of 2 games
— No repeat pairings in the same tie
Each Tie consists of 5 matches and must be played in the following order:
MD1, WD1, MD2/MX1, MX2

Standard BWF rules apply.
Coaching permitted at the 11-point interval (maximum 60 seconds).
All teams will be seeded at the discretion of the organizing committee.


Round Robin

During the Round Robin phase, teams will participate in a series of preliminary matches against all teams in the pool to determine their seeding for the subsequent elimination rounds (up to four teams per pool). After all teams in a pool have played each other:
— 1st place advances to Division A
— 2nd place advances to Division B
— 3rd place advances to Division C
All 5 matches in every tie will be played in full.

Single Elimination (Divisions A, B & C)

Teams will compete in knockout rounds based on their division.
First team to secure 3 match wins progresses.
Remaining matches may be played if both teams agree and courts are available.


Tournament Waiver & Release of Liability

Assumption of Risk
Participants accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the event. Epic Sports, venue partners, and sponsors are not liable for any claims arising from participation.

Eligibility
Participants must be 14 years or older. Those under 19 must provide a guardian’s name and contact information. Government-issued ID may be requested.

Media Release
By participating, individuals grant Epic Sports the right to use event photos or videos for promotional purposes without compensation.

Right to Modify
Epic Sports reserves the right to modify tournament details at any time without prior notice.
